The first decade is very painful
Having got used to a partner and companion
Waking up alone each morning
Planning the day together
Shopping for gifts,

Going to the movies
All painful memories!
A decade later-
One gets accustomed to being single again
No need to plan dinner,
Eat what you want and when
No more washing extra clothes
